Because remembering your daily creatine shouldn't require another reminder on your phone. πβοΈ
These homemade Creatine Jellies are a fun and easy way to work creatine into your routine. Made with your favourite juice, gelatine and Grape Creatine, they're fruity, chewy and ridiculously simple to prep ahead for the week.
Method
1. Add the juice
Pour your juice into a small saucepan.
2. Bloom the gelatine
Sprinkle the gelatine over the juice and leave it to sit for 5 minutes. This allows the gelatine to bloom before heating.
3. Gently heat
Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir until the gelatine has completely dissolved. Don't allow the mixture to boil.
4. Add the creatine
Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in the Grape Creatine until completely combined.
5. Fill your moulds
Allow the mixture to cool before carefully pouring it into your silicone moulds.
6. Chill and set
Refrigerate for 4-6 hours, or until the jellies are completely set.
Serving
The amount of creatine in each jelly will depend on the size of your moulds and how many jellies the recipe makes. Divide the total 20g of creatine by the number of jellies you make to calculate the approximate amount per jelly.
For example, if your batch makes 20 equal-sized jellies, each will contain approximately 1g of creatine.
Always follow the serving directions on your creatine product rather than assuming one jelly equals one daily serve.
Storage
Store your Creatine Jellies in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days. Keep them chilled until you're ready to enjoy.
