• ½ cup almond meal
• ¼ cup Protein Supplies Australia collagen powder (unflavoured or choc)
• ¼ cup cacao powder
• ¼ cup maple syrup
• ¼ cup peanut butter

• 100g dark chocolate
• 1 tbsp coconut oil
• Crushed candy canes (optional, but fun)
• Flaky sea salt

Choc mint, you either love it or you don’t talk about it in public. But if you’re here, I’m guessing you’re on Team Fresh AF.

This slice is rich, cool, and indulgent without the sugar crash. The base is chewy and chocolatey with a subtle peppermint hit, boosted with collagen for skin, hair, and joint love. Topped with dark chocolate, a festive crunch of candy cane, and a hint of sea salt, it’s a no-bake fridge treat that feels like a win.

Let’s make magic 🪄

1. Blend the base:
In a food processor, combine almond meal, collagen powder, cacao, maple syrup, PB, peppermint, and salt. Blitz until it forms a moist, sticky dough.

2. Press & chill:
Press the mixture firmly into a lined tin or container. Smooth the top, then pop it in the fridge while you prep the topping.

3. Melt the top:
In a microwave or over a double boiler, melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together, stirring until glossy.

4. Pour & sprinkle:
Pour the chocolate over the base. Sprinkle crushed candy canes and flaky salt on top.

5. Chill & slice:
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm. Slice into 8 neat pieces and store in the fridge for up to 5 days (if they last that long).

FAQ – Choc Mint, Collagen & No-Bake Life

Can I use a different protein powder instead of collagen?

Yep! Any protein powder works here, but collagen gives a smoother texture and is heat-free friendly — perfect for no-bake recipes.

Is the peppermint flavour strong?

That’s totally up to you! Start with ½ tsp and taste the mix — you can always add more if you want that cool minty hit.

Can I skip the candy cane topping?

You sure can. Crushed nuts, cacao nibs, or shredded coconut also work if you're after a less sweet, more wholefoods vibe.

How long do these last in the fridge?

They’ll keep well for up to 5 days in an airtight container. Or freeze for longer — just let them thaw a little before biting in!
