INGREDIENTS:

✔️ 1 cup milk
✔️ 2 tbsp Strawberry Whey Protein
✔️ 150g strawberry or vanilla yoghurt
✔️ 1 cup frozen or fresh strawberries (or any berry you fancy)

No strawberries? No worries, mate – I gave it a red-hot go with raspberries instead, and it still churned out bloody delicious! Here's the go-to recipe for a creamy treat that's as easy as it is tasty:

Method:

  1. Pour your milk and protein into the Ninja Creami tub – give it a good mix until smooth.

  2. Stir in the yoghurt and berries.

  3. Pop the container in the freezer for 24 hours – patience is a virtue!

  4. Blend using the Lite Ice Cream setting on your Ninja Creami.

  5. Take it out, add a tablespoon of yoghurt, and hit Respin. Repeat if it’s not silky smooth yet.

  6. Want to take it up a notch? Toss in extra berries or choccy bits using the Mix-In function.

  7. Dig in straight away and enjoy every creamy Aussie bite.

FAQ – Berry Aussie Dream Froyo

Can I use a different type of milk?

Too right! Almond, oat, dairy, or whatever you’ve got in the fridge – it all works, as long as you like the flavour.

Do I need a Ninja Creami for this?

For that spot-on creamy texture, yep. You can try a high-powered blender plus freezing, but the result won't be quite the same.

Can I swap out the protein powder?

For sure! Use your preferred brand or flavour, or even chuck in some Greek yoghurt for a natural protein hit.

How long can I keep it in the freezer?

Up to 2 weeks is sweet – just make sure to reseal the tub well. Once spun, though, it’s best eaten straight away.

Can I double the recipe?

You bet! Just freeze each batch in its own container so it blends up nicely in the Creami.
