Alright, late to the party but finally on board—the baked oats craze is the real deal. If you’ve got a sweet tooth but still want a high-protein brekkie that fuels your morning, this one’s a beauty. With creamy banana, warm vanilla, and a drizzle of honey, it’s basically dessert disguised as breakfast—and your body will thank you for every bite.
Method:
-
Preheat oven to 180°C (fan-forced).
-
In an oven-safe dish, mash half the banana. Add oats, protein powder, maca powder, vanilla paste, and baking soda.
-
Pour in almond milk and mix until just combined.
-
Top with remaining banana slices and choc chips.
-
Bake for around 10–12 minutes, or until golden on top.
-
Finish with a drizzle of honey (and a dollop of peanut butter if you're feeling fancy).
Serve warm and enjoy your dessert-for-breakfast moment!
