Our keto coffee has been developed as an ideal addition to a ketogenic diet, due to the high fat content (MCT Oil) at 40% with a source of protein (Collagen) and low in carbohydrates. Often people on a keto diet struggle to meet their fat requirements for the day so our instant coffee is a convenient and delicious way to supplement your keto diet with all natural ingredients.
Our Keto Coffee contains MCT Oil (Medium Chain Triglycerides) which are a from of saturated fatty acids that can be naturally found in plant based oils such as Coconut. There are four types of medium chain triglycerides, caprioc, caprylic, capric and lauric acids however they all hold similar health benefits. The primary benefit of MCTs is their ability to be absorbed from the gut and taken to the liver to produce ketones making them a quick and efficient energy source during ketosis.
As we're a all about the protein, Keto Coffee wouldn't be complete without Collagen. A structural protein that is a major component in the body especially in skin, muscles and tendons. Factors like age, diet and environment can deplete your bodies collagen levels leading to the degeneration of collagen rich areas of the body like your skin. This degradation can cause changes in the body associated with aging, like wrinkles and aching joints. Supplementing with collagen can help slow this depletion and minimise the negative effects associated. As a protein collagen is a source of amino acids which have integral roles in the body including muscle growth and maintenance, the repair and maintenance of joints and ligaments. The amino acid glutamine which is contained in collagen has also been associated with preventing inflammation of the gut wall and contributing to overall gut health.
Our Keto Coffee is based around Coconut Milk Powder which gives a delicious creamy texture while adding another beneficial source of fats to the drink. You can enjoy this both hot and cold, adding to your smoothie or other delicious creations.
It wouldn't be right without real coffee and for this we use real dehydrated instant coffee powder, for those who love a good pick me up.
